CONSTITUTION MONTH PROGRAM: Teachers and Administrators, please note that before and after the actual Constitution Day, September 17, the Village celebrates this document's influence on our government through a special Constitution Month program. In 2005, with Public Law 108-447, Federal lawmakers mandated that schools and federal agencies receiving federal funding must teach the Constitution. Since a major goal at American Village is promoting civic education, our staff has established a new program enabling schools to fulfill this requirement to learn about the Constitution.
