As The American Village looks forward to celebrating America's 234th birthday on July 4, 2010, we encourage you, your family, and friends to visit us this summer. We especially hope you will make plans to join us on Sunday, July 4, for Independence Day 1776! We open at noon and our celebration continues after dusk with music and fireworks. This fall we begin our 11th full year of school programming with our acclaimed LIBERTY! program crafted for 5th grade and higher.

Another unique program, Living America's Story, is designed specially for kindergarten through grades three. Featured during a limited number of weeks, its November focus is on the Pilgrims and Thanksgiving. In February the program is centered on the theme of Presidents Day, and starting in mid-March our programs features America's beginnings with Paul Revere and Patriots Days.
