The American Village welcomes the general public at any time during our regular operating hours (Monday through Friday, 10:00am until 4:00pm). Visit the Calendar of Events for information on exact holiday closing dates.

If you wish to schedule a visit by a church group, tour group, senior activities group, community club, or other organization, please call our reservationist at 205-665-3535, extension 45. Non-school groups are scheduled at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm on weekdays. Many groups enjoy lunch at one of the local area restaurants. We can arrange for a lunch (priced separately from admission) to be at The Village. Please contact our reservationist for this service or to otherwise assist in planning your visit.
