This Christmas season, guests will “rewind” to December 1780, and celebrate the marriage of Alexander and Eliza Hamilton, and discover how a poor, lovesick colonel won the heart of this sought-after Schuyler sister. The story begins at Washington’s headquarters, where Hamilton’s fellow aides stumble upon a revelation that turns lighthearted banter into a reflection on loyalty and friendship amid the uncertainty of war.
On the eve of the wedding, the Schuyler sisters share their hopes, fears, and the bond that carries Eliza into her new life, while wedding-morning chaos erupts as Catherine Schuyler, seven months pregnant, struggles to create the perfect day for her daughter, despite an overeager groom, a weary husband, and a meddling minister. The celebration concludes with the newlywed Hamiltons joyfully marking their first Christmas together, filled with music, merriment, and the warmth of family and friends.
This annual Christmas event is usually a sellout, so reserve your seats early!
The event includes lunch, a guided tour through the vignettes, and extra time to explore the American Village on your own.
