The American Village will hold a Veterans Day Chapel Service Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Chapel. The service will be followed by the laying of a wreath at the National Veterans Shrine.
Family-friendly activities are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission to American Village is free on Veterans Day.
The new Karl C. Harrison Museum of George and Martha Washington will be open, as well as the rest of Independence Hall, the President’s Oval Office, and the Randall Museum of American History. You can also explore Concord Bridge and the Embattled Farmer Statue, and walk the Freedom Trail. Spend the day at American Village and take a break at the Merchants’ Coffee House. Enjoy hot or cold beverages, snacks, breakfast or lunch.
